While I was looking at the s410, I also looked at the HW100. There was a vote in one airgun forum as to which would be the one to pick, 410 or HW, it ended up like 75% HW.
I asked Mac1 Tim about the German gun while in his shop, and he had good praise for it. But he also said while the accuracy is quite good, some of these guns lose this good accuracy over a period of time. He said something about the angle of the breach loading entrance, and o rings, the combination of wear leads some pellets to get ever so slightly scraped or nicked as they enter the chamber, resulting in inaccurate pellets. I’ve read about the same thing on another forum somewhere, with great accuracy going south after a period of time, but take all this with some salt I guess.

The HW is Multishot (400 is single, 410 is multi too), regulated, heavier and the stocks look like a stained 2×4.

Has anyone owned both an s400 and a Weihrauch HW100? How do they fare up against eachother?

Rob, I have a new brass custom trigger guard coming for my S410. It’s done and they shipped it today 😀 did you put that trigger on you got from me?
He got that FT for a STEAL !

Riff…. I do have the carbine tube. You want it? Let me know and it’s yours. I’ll soon be having another one as I am replacing the tube on my MPR as well. You are more than welcome to both of them.
Thanks for the photos Rob. That gives me a better idea of the carbines size, its shorter than I thought it would be.
