and it seems for similar reasons that Steve banned all commentary regarding Grant, Tim has now jumped in the same boat
Never understood why some folks leave nasty messages on someone’s answering machine regarding things that happen on a web forum they don’t even own
the upside is at least with the Flea market board one can advertise Taddager’s conversions 😉
anyways there will be no discussion regarding USFTs, Steroids or LDs allowed on the Yellow anymore it seems

Knew a guy who spent 8 years in prison for nothing more than “terroristic threats” kind of like the message Tim left on Steve’s answering machine. Although I don’t know if “the end of your existence” is absolutely a death threat…needless to say, too close for comfort and a dumb move on Tim’s part.
I think MAC1’s rant is on the crossman forum. I read it a while ago.

what started it all was Steve changing the Yellow’s Classified’s policy.
Tim tended to agree with me that it was likely to somewhat stifle innovation by Hobbiest craftsmen then further went on to state the reason he pulled his banner ad off the top of the Yellow was that basically he felt the folks it brought to him were time wasters
SteveCT is quite sensitive about folks who use his forums to sell their wares being critical of him and banned him off the main forum
Tim spazzed and left the nasty message and is now history
its not how I have handled these matters
I don’t leave idiot messages..nothing online is really that important
and I never banned anyone over anything less than kiddieporn, warz, death threats against the President and other outright criminal activities
different strokes for different folks though
I give Tony, WOK, Y and particularly Tron mega props for how they have chosen to run things here

Yeah, Steve in ct is certainly a cunt, but steve in nc takes whiny cunt to new unprecendented levels. And both of their followers on the Yellow are legion.
You never know what you can say there or what you can’t, the enemies become friends and friends become enemies on a sureal George Orwell 1984 weekly basis.
When a forum moderator bans the posting of questions, or information about a certain craftsman or his products, because of a personal matter that is the grandest level of cencorship.
But it is not just steve in ct, it is laced throughout the airgun forums.
It disturbs me that Tron gets hatemail and phone calls from Dirty Harry, but still he is allowed to post, and that is internet freedom as it should be even tho it is uncomfortable for some of us.

certain after market triggers are not to be discussed
for example SteveNC had a major falling out with Charlie d’Tuna over GTX triggers

I don’t think those people are in to airgun mods. I bought a used springer with an aftermarket trigger in it and registered there to ask if anyone knew how to adjust the two screws. It was my first and last post. I think the moderator thought I was Satan or something. With no explanation he told me I wasn’t welcome there so I left. Weird huh?
I finally ended up finding a website that had instructions on my trigger but that forum was no help at all.

Funny though he lets fucking Crosman plug their tv shows on the front page while they ignore the problems and issues with the rifles. I’m beginning to think Crosman is vying for a congressional or presidential run and the Yellow is their base.
I think the Yellow wanted people to PAY and Tim basically said the traffic generated by the Y is too stupid for him to deal with. I think this pissed off the owner of the Y just a little so he banned all talk of Mac-1 and then Tim went ballistic.
The owner then goes on to slander Tim and say since he is drunk then everyone who buys from him is going to get fucked.
I spoke with Tim last week, he’s busy as hell and actually sounded great! Hmm, I was expecting something different after reading that post a few weeks ago. Shit and knowing some of what the “rulers” do over there3 that tape could be fabricated… Wouldn’t put it past them.
If there ever was a polar opposite forum of here, it’s there.

Funny thing is that Tim was walking on water just a few weeks ago,you would think he had single handedly invented the airgun sport and FT.
It was rumored they were going to paint a nude of him on the ceiling of the Crosman chapel extending out his finger to Steve in CT to symbalize the creations of MAC 1 USFT’s.
It would seem Steve misinterpted the finger gester. 😆

had alot of input and great product on the Yellow. I have been noticing that egos from certain folks there… are at full tilt beyond the lounge singer “Tom Jones” mojo ego factor that frankly belongs in the the 1970’s….too bad for both parties… 🙁
