Q:

Yet another…… EDGUN!

Camera battery is charging – will update with pics.

#1862, New shroud design, quietest gun I own except for my 2300S with a 6″ TKO brake. 8-10 sight in shots for the 10-40×50 Osprey and the next 35-40 (lost count) shots made one 1.5 inch hole at 30y. I was only looking for flyers or POI shift. I was going to keep going until it dropped off but the school buses pulled up. Kids gallore!

I haven’t even filled it yet – it was shipped with a full 200bar. Also – note to anyone with one or order – Tony shipped a $1549 box with NO signature required. That surprised me.

Where Did You Get The Rubber Plug

Its the cap that comes on the bleeder valves of brake wheel cylinders.

Is it supposed to have a cap of some sort to cover the fill port? Mine came with the fill adapter in the fill port and no cover(that I can find) for the fill port hole.

I used a rubber plug to cover my fill port.

Looks like the bulls are coming in……

I did not shoot over the chrony yet but did shoot a couple just to hear it. It is very quiet. I am impressed with how it feels/balances when pointing it. 😀 I think I am going to be very happy. Good to hear about the CP’s grouping.I have wanted to get some to try out in my edgun but did not want to buy a whole box if they were not going to group well.

With the available pressure in my tank I was able to fill to 185 bar. I fired ~80 shoots and ended between 80 and 85 bar (read using a flashlight). Each shot was at a single .25 inch bull. There were 2 points in the string where the POI rose .25 – .5 inches for several shots then settled back down. (could have been me) and several random misses up to .33 inches (probably me). Could have kept going but was hoping to get a few more 30y shots in (didn’t happen).

I was only at 20 yards but there was no POI drop below the bull that wasn’t my fault and very little left / right creep (my talon moves left/right more often than up/down with pressure changes).

I need to buy a chrony but what I’m hoping that this tells me so far is that I might get 100+ useable (even if not full powere) shots off a full fill. Most of my shooting is between 20 and 40 yrds. I used the JSB 15.9’s (? red label) for this .

0I tested 15.9’s and the 18.1 JSB’s earlier at 30y. Very close in performance (grouping) and surprisingly little difference in POI. Pretty big POI diff between the JSB’s and the CP’s, but the CP groups were just as good as the JSB’s.

Can’t wait to get this thing back in the woods over the weekend.

Locked up the gun room with the targets shot above and the camera inside. Don’t feel like going back out so maybe I’ll post something tomorrow.

Yeah I would call someones supervisor. I have taken days off work before to be home so I can sign for items. I’m thinking I should have written a letter. WTF!

No. I was home – are you kidding I always stay home for airguns.
UPS didn’t do anything wrong. Just surprised they get shipped this way.
