Well, the video at the start of this thread, looks to be fairly decent plink worthy accuracy using the Red Dot sight . However, the distance appears to be very very close. Just the fact that it is shooting pellets and not BB’s impresses me . I am sure that it can be massaged enough to have adequate accuracy just on that fact alone. They say that it is available in .25 too? I think maybe better to stick with .177 instead of .22 or .25 for best accuracy. I wonder what HPA will do for this gun? I have been told that the double action only trigger in not bad at all???? The video posted above doesnt appear as if the trigger travel is too excessive. I would think for a actual shooting training aid that you would expect the mockup to have very similiar trigger feel or activation…. Maybe it isnt too bad? Still if I were to want one of these it has to go into rock and roll mode. I would have thought a gas blowback would have had the most realism for a training and practice rifle mockup. Of the price point would be getting much higher. With their current price point they should be very successful! I would expect it to be very competitive with many of those higher end airsoft guns that some people get into. I have noticed some of those M4 types going for nearly a grand! I have never seen one in person but for a thousand dollars it better be pretty awesome. I suspect those are sold to individuals that just cant own or deal with the liability of owning the true firearm. Maybe this sig will offer another alternative? Some of those high end airsoft are blowback operated and indeed go full auto. I wonder what it would take to convert one of those to pellet? Maybe uf nothing else .25 cal. Lead shot? Now that might be pretty cool!

I see some pros and some cons…
I totally feel same as RKR just posted…… The biggest bummer and turn off is the fact that it isnt truly semi auto but is merely a manual activated double action trigger. No chance ever to make a full auto conversion. If I was going to have a replica or mockup gun, it might as well be a full auto version… Why play with toys if ya can just get the real thing. If your gonna own a fantasy gun , might as well go with something you normally cant get. Otherwise replica airguns remind me of the toy guns ya used to see when we were kids going down the toy aisle of kmart. They just dont have toys like that these days.
I understand as a training aid or educational mockup for practice and demonstration before using the real thing. Maybe even as a lessor liability to have for certain collectors. The energy level seems a little weak too….
The cool thing is that this replica actually fires real lead and not steel bb’s . A bonafide pellet gun with 30 round mag and rumors of 90 rnd mags later in the future.
The price is pretty nice and the thing supposedly is made with alot of metal in all the right places.
I dunno the double action and the whole M4 replica thing turns me off too. If it comes put in HPA it might be more interesting…..

IIRC those Sigs are double action guns, not semi autos. There was also talk about PCP versions but I kind of lost interest when I heard about the double action.
