Thanks for the thorough answers. I never had luck with the JSB monsters either. But my AA s510 loves the JSB 15.9 grains, super tight groups. Don’t know what the effective range is on those. The ‘cudas doubtless carry a punch for longer.
I’m up to 35 squirrels in about 40 days, but have been too busy to keep at them.

What’s the farthest distance where a dime-sized group can be expected (with practice) ?
What was your starting fill pressure?
What other pellets have you tried in that gun, results?
What’s your cleaning and lube procedure for the pellets?
I’ve not been cleaning or lubing pellets, other than blowing off dust, but the guns I’m using are not cranking 40 fpe and squeezing the pellet skirts as tightly against the barrel.
Sorry for all the questions. I’ve been eyeing an Air Wolf for some time. I could use an accurate, heavier ‘cuda-shooter that can deliver accuracy.

Here are my answers:
-the farthest dime sized group, barring any wind, would be ~60-meters
-Starting pressure is 230 bar (anything over this chokes the valve and decreases the velocity)
-I have only ever tried JSB Monsters; which failed miserably, i.e., 36″ group at 100-meters (not a typo, very bad grouping)—I favour heavy pellets, period.

I am happy to answer all your questions, this airgunning thing is practically a brotherhood. Feel free to message me anytime. P.S. The H&N and Baracuda is the best pellet going and if you can find a rifle that shoots them well then you will be very effective at pest removal.

You are welcome. My Air Arms TX200 (.22 cal.) loves the JSB 15.9 grain pellets, come to think of it, I have not fired the 15.9 through my Air Wolf. Heck, I just might. As far as your effective range is concerned, I think it would work on a crow out to 100-yards as long as your wind was properly doped for.
Nice work on the squirrels, the world is now a safer place. Ha ha, I tell my wife that squirrels are man’s natural enemy and then she says “I thought crows were man’s natural enemy?”
