Q:

Zero in at 50 yard

After I filled my DAQ308, I need some advice on zero in this big bore at 50 yard.
Should I sight in my scope 1 inch below POI at 30 feet? (Like the Condor)

This calculator will give you an idea of what your slug is doing, so you can put your POI where you need it at shorter ranges, and know that it is going to be on at 50 yards (assuming you have centered the reticle/bore sited the gun).

The calculator has shown to be fairly accurate when I use it on different slugs out of my 909.

Remember to fill in the box on the left, and press “calculate” afterwards. It’s important to remember to enter the height of your reticle over the center of your bore as well.

I would put a target up at 50 yards some were and sight it in using the shooting position you will use the most when hunting, then you know its on.
