Hi Drumie. I’m having fun with my TalonP too. I thought about using a 22ci tank but decided on a 17ci with an M4 style adjustable buttstock. The tank and buttstock come as a kit from RAP4. I’ll be ordering the kit next month.

This month I ordered an R&L shorty shroud for my TalonP. I like the look of the shorty shroud a lot. It’ll look great with…Read more

Thanks. I just had a hunch that the 13ci tank was a standard paintball tank. Now that I know for sure I plan to use a 17ci or 22ci tank to increase the shot count and to lengthen the LOP while still keeping the 2″ tank diameter. I can also select from several tank covers and butt stocks available from…Read more

I think you’re right about the 22ci tank. It would add about 4″ to the LOP. The 17ci tank would add about 2″. I could also use a new Spin-Loc TalonP valve assembly to add a gauge and foster fitting without increasing the LOP. That would give me a whole new 361cc Spin-Loc TalonP tank plus I’d still have my 213cc tank as a spare.

Okay, this is an update to my post. I just got off the phone with Catalina Cylinders Cliff Impact Division and they are the manufacturer of the TalonP 213cc tank and it does have a standard paintball thread of 5/8-18UNF-2B.

My next step is to order a 17ci (280cc) tank which is about 2-1/4″ longer than the 13ci (213cc) tank. That should be a good…Read more
