One thing to remember on your click values when making adjustments, all “clicks” on scopes are the value at 100 yards.
If your target is closer or farther away than 100yards your clicks will not be 1/8, 1/4 inch, etc. or what ever the value is for your particular scope.

If your scope has 1/4 MOA clicks and your target is at 50 yards each…Read more

I can’t say for sure since I have used neither. If I were going to be chosing one I would go for the B-Square 17101…the second link you listed.

One thing I do on every scope I mount on any (air, rimfire or centerfire) rifle is use Loc-Tite blue very sparingly on all screws…bases and rings. This will be especially beneficial for springers.…Read more

One thing I have found out is that with the distances at which air rifles are used (10-50+ yards) you really need to consider what “click” value you want in your windage/elevation adjustments.

Consider this, if you are using a scope with 1/8 minute clicks, at 25 yards each click will only move the POI 1/32 inch!!! Unless you are using a…Read more

the maximum “effective range that you can hit a target” all depends on you and your abilities, not the rifle. just about any rifle and pistol made today is far more accurate than most shooters can shoot. like anything else, if you want to shoot good you have to practice, practice, practice and when you are tired of practicing….practice some more.
