Oh, I know about helium&#8217;s lower density, and it&#8217;s ability to move more easily through tight spaces than air.That&#8217;s why I was wondering if it was a higher volume of gas  per trigger pull pushing that pellet to give&#8230;a higher FPE? That must have been a higher velocity.  Kind of like a valve mod.?<br />

So that (obviously) was a jump in velocity with helium.This is fun to think about.<br />
I recall with those &#8220;pumpkin cannons&#8221; that it was all about the VOLUME of air pushing the pumpkin projectiles, and not the pressure. I recall that being said. As in my previous reply, helium has a much lower density than air.<br />

I&#8217;m not sure how helium ,( a gas with less density..but not really less viscosity) helps us in pushing a pellet down the tube. Is there science behind the concept?I know it can overcome &#8220;resistance&#8221; ( gas pushing through tight places). Does that equate to more &#8220;volume of gas&#8221; per shot, and thus more velocity?<br />

I got the Walther Nighthunter combo. It&#8217;s a light and laser in one unit, and has a remote pressure switch. Figure around $60. You&#8217;ll also need an 11 mm Weaver Rail Adaptor to attach it to the Talon rail. Figure about $10.<br />

No, there were no aftermarket concerns. Straight out of the box. I actually had accidental discharges as I tried to pull the breech slide home.<br />
Not a full charge, but enough to bust a flourescent lamp. Guess how I know that? What a mess.<br />

The tophat stem pulls out on cocking the breechslide.  I&#8217;ve sent one back to Airforce, and the replacement does the same thing. I&#8217;ll call them today to ask about it again. They&#8217;re good about customer service.<br />
