Thanks, I plan to bring my new 30 cal to Tx to pig hunt with. Going to try a Nomadic Pirate. I have my night vision clip on set up to attach to my scope and hope to take a pig. I also will have plenty of time to shoot it and get educated on how it performs. Hopefully this will allow me to get a good head shot on a pig under 60 yards.

I might also be lazy, since all I have to do is be quiet and they will eventually show up. Impressive to see them taken with an air rifle. Looks like you are hitting them around the eyes?? The skull I have looks the thinnest around the eye and nose area.

What time of day do you hunt? Do you bait or just hunt around known trails?

I have hunted pigs in Oklahoma and Missouri, both have been at night around feeders for deer.
