Are you using the quick change top hat with that string? If so, which insert are you using? Certainly a solid set up you’ve got there.

I am shooting my condor (24 inch barrel) with the large insert and getting a long shot string. 10-12 pounds of air per pellet. Shooting 31 grain Beeman Kodiaks at the moment. I should do some chrony work and see…Read more

I put the quick change top hat in my Condor 25 before I even shot it. The smallest insert gives me ~40 shots and lower noise (mine is not baffled). Installation was a piece of cake after watching the video. Slightly more complicated than changing a light bulb.

The only issue I have had remotely similar is failing to completely cock the bolt by pushing it all the way forwards. Your situation sounds more serious.

Hi jastacy67,

I’m far from an expert since this is my first AirForce airgun. Are the numbers you’re referring to for your fill tank? Like a scuba tank?

The stock tank on my condor is 490 cubic centimeters. I’m using a Benjamin hand pump to fill my 25 caliber model. I get about 40 shots with the smallest (lowest velocity and most quiet) insert.…Read more

Thanks for the ergonomics tips guys. I’ll consider the adapter and tank cover in the future if I feel like its holding my enjoyment back. For now pellets and air are all I need! Like I said, I can shoot around it pretty well. I’ve been having fun with a big steel target about 100 yards out the back door.

I haven’t sprung for a compressor or air tank either, yet… From what I have read its just a matter of time. Seems like the shoebox and a small bottle would be ideal for hunting.
