I can be a witness that even at relatively low fps, his TALON SS with the 67 grain balls absolutely stops pigeons with authority. It punches a clean hole that looks like someone drilled right through the bird.

There is my equipment, the MROD, Boonie Packer sling, Tasco 6-24×44 Mildot Varmint series scope (I leave it at 10x for this stuff), shooting stick, range finder, and it’s favorite heavy pellets (Kodiak and Baracuda match).

Mine is, yes. As I stated above, you can hear the hammer hit the firing pin, and then a bullet impact. That is the only noise when using subsonic loads.
