<p>It&#8217;s my understanding after reading too way too much on this forum.( I don&#8217;t have a good place to shoot  😥 )..that the power wheel works in conjunction with the top hat adjustment.  One must use a chrony and continually refine these adjustments until  the preferred optimization is acheived.</p>

<p>The airgun scopes suited for your RWS and other springers are built to compensate for both a sharp forward backward motion. This type of recoil is unlike a firearm recoil which is a backward motion only. </p>

I pumped the reservior only three times and much to my disappointment (read  👿 ), the pump tipped over (with the reservior attached) and sheared the brass fitting at the base.  I was unable to get the piece out of the base and so back to the factory it went.</p>
