With the factory tophat &amp; stem, filling to 2700psi, using 21g kodiaks, top velocity was 930fps, with an avg of 910fps. And i got about 30 shots before ES exceeded 50fps. End fill preasure (after 30 shots) was about 2100psi.</p>

<p>Bonestock: PW was at 5, TH at about 0.09. But this condor has a talon valve (not factory hiflo), the hammer weight removed, and a few adjustments.</p>

<p>My advice would be, to get a talon ss AND a 24&#8243; .22 barrel.<br />
(or a .22 Condor and a talon tank 🙂 )</p>
<p>That IMHO is the BEST configuration you can have with an AF rifle.<br />
Consistent, 40FPE of power, very accurate, and not as noisy as the condor.</p>

ne way, i been a little short on cash these days, so i havent bought the necesary drill bit, i plan to do the &#8220;surgery&#8221; sometime next week.</p>

<p>I tried it with some epoxy, left it all night for it to dry, and when i tried to turn it, it cracked and the wrench just came out.<br />
Then i did the same, but this time using baking soda + crazy glue, same result 🙁 🙁</p>

<p>The results? The grouping went to shit  😥 </p>
<p>the groups i did today are about 3 times the size of the ones i did before adjusting the TH.<br />

My tophat is in fact pretty close to the valve face, maybe this is the problem?<br />
If it is, then i have another problem  🙄  if i open my tophat to avoid this, then my shot count will decrease.<br />
i dunno what to do 🙁</p>

<p>Yes, the velocity/spin issue makes sense, but ¿can it be so dramatic (almost 2&#8243; @ 45yrds), for a speed variaton of less than 50fps? Total ES thru all the charge is about 46fps.<br />
I tought i would see that with speed variations of say 100 &#8211; 200fps. ¿but for only 46fps?</p>

I would reduce fill preasure to say 2700, and start with a much smaller gap on the top hat, and increase that gap till i get the velocity i want, or till velocity doesnt increase any more.<br />
