I think it is $140 for a new Hi-flow valve. There are listings on ebay for knock-off valves but I would not trust them and they are just about as high. It will only take a few days for them to get it to you. It even had that listed on one of the chinese compressors I looked at. The reason to use this is that regular oil could cause dieseling which causes carbon build up causing the compressor to break down. And no I do not want to go over 3k but if I fill to 3k inside my home where the temp is about 72 degrees and go outside for hours in 95-102 degrees, which is normal for the summer here, the pressure is going to go up.
