<p>I had the Barska &#8220;Varmint&#8221; 6.5-20&#215;50 scope&#8230; cost about $60 new and it was a killer.</p>
<p>Also, the Centerpoint scopes that are sold at your local WallyWorld are a decent buy.</p>

If you punch paper with them you&#8217;ll get frustrated, but if you use them to hunt, you&#8217;ll like them a lot  (inside of 30 yds).</p>

<p>Give it a shot if you want, but be prepared for the risk of accidental discharge at the worst, or having to buy a whole new trigger group from AF at the least.</p>

<p>No sense in continually tearing down the gun until you try some different styles of lead and see how they perform.</p>

<p>Buy &#8217;em up, stash them for a year, and then you can sell &#8217;em on the Yellow for three or four times what you paid for them.  😆</p>

Once I realized the safety wouldn&#8217;t work without it, I just took the safety bar out and that was that.  Never have had a fail to cock or an accidental discharge.</p>
