That 5 years hydro test cycle is not international standard. There seems to be variation between countries.
Here in Finland pressure containers must be tested in 10 year cycle. I don’t know is that Europian rule or just local.

That thing is not a silencer. It is a absorber. It cuts high parts of the sound and leave low parts flow frealy. (Google absorbtion muflers and chamber muflers and you’ll get the idea.)

High sound is more irritating than low to human. That is why it sounds better with it.

Altaros regulator have gauge and Foster fitting. It is just bolt on piece. Nothing extra needed.
