For a Mutant, the OEM end cap is recessed and a pain in the ass to remove since you need 2 pins as a tool to help unscrew it. <p>I think the mutant factory reg setting is 130 bar&#8230;. My standard only took minimal hst adjustment (butit was in charlie&#8217;s hands first). And my shorty has only just arrived&#8230;.</p>
<p>Also my initial thoughts are that the shorty is much easier to handle it does bark a little louder than my standard.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When i talked with tony he said that the large insert will reduce the wide open by ~100 fps and the small will reduce wide open by about ~200 fps.  </p>
<p>With that he also told me that he didn&#8217;t recommend shooting .22 wide open due to tank dump.</p>
<p>My 24&#8243; condor responded just like he said 🙂 and with his shroud mine is ultra quiet, just hammer clink.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>sounds like you have a leak somewhere&#8230;. do you hear a hiss?  if so then tighten up all connections and check the pressure relief valve on the hill (big round brass knob)  </p>
<p>remember to take frequent breaks so you don&#8217;t build up heat and kill your &#8220;o&#8221; rings.  Most people pump slowly for about 5 min then rest for 15. <p>Think about a bowling ball and basket ball rolling down a hill.  Which would be harder to stop at the bottom.</p>
