I filled it and shot for a few fills and put it away and the next day it was empty again. I was fuming, but after the next fill it never leaked again. I think the valve if not seated perfectly, or if there is even a tiny bit of debris on it will leak. Glad you got it figured out.</p>

I just had a gun serviced and was told there was a lot of moisture in the cylinder. Now I&#8217;m worrying if my filter/dryer is working. I guess I&#8217;d better tear down one of my guns that has only ever been filled by my tank and see.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hammer spring too long is definitely a possibility. It acts like it. The regulator does work though, just not if I let it sit for more than a few minutes between shots. Once I hit 150 bar, the velocity does tend to drop off fairly rapidly.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>First shot is 25 fps faster. If I shoot a couple more quickly,  they are back down. Then if I wait five minutes and shoot one, that shot will be high again. Either the seat or an inner o ring is leaking the higher pressure air into the &#8220;regulated&#8221; chamber.</p>

<p>Does anyone have an opinion as to what is causing the regulator to allow the pressure to creep up? I am hoping it is an o-ring, but if it is the seat, I&#8217;m going to have to get AT to come to the rescue. I haven&#8217;t tried to depressurize the air tube and look at it yet. Not much at all and I really don&#8217;t notice any color to it. I wipe it up with a yellow towel, so maybe that masks the color. If I remember, the oil that came with the unit was a deep green color.</p>

Nikon 3-9 EFR which is specifically made for airguns is a brilliant scope for under $200 but does not have mil dot or any kind of drop compensating reticle. If you don&#8217;t need more than a cross reticle, it is the clearest scope I have seen under $500.
