It stops just short of the end of the barrel. I would like to make one that is a combo of this and the milled baffle system that Blobnob is doing.

The burst disc you removed is rated at 3000 psi, so there must be some safety margin in that and tank failure?

It would be an easy job to drill and tap a new hole for the gauge and leave the BD alone.

Some have added a gauge to the Talon tanks also.
