Well since i have the Condor in .177 I cant really have too much power otherwise i loose accuracy. So i am wondering if by putting a regulator can i achieve velocities of about 1000fps with 10.5 grain pellets and be able to fill to 2800psi, because know i can only fill to like 1900psi and get very little shots per fill. Also will the consistency…Read more

So I measured the speed today. At PW setting 5.5/12 , 2200psi in the tank , 10.5 grains pellets, WITH an o-ring where going 1180 feet/s. So i dilled it down to 4.0/12 and I was getting 980 feet/s so i was happy with that. I then filled the tank to 3000psi and I was getting the same speeds!! (980feet/s).

So I am expecting many shots!! Although i…Read more

I am getting about 40 shots with a 150bar fill, so im expecting around 70 (?) with a 180-190bar, when i fill my scuba tank. Ill try to take some pictures of grouping at about 70 yards next time i go to the range. I got some promising groups of about 1 Inch (windy conditions) at 55 yards with the o-ring, 10.5grain pellets, 150 bar set up.

quote powderburner:you filled to 2400 psi, what is your power wheel and top hat set at.
what was your fps at 2400 fill

My power wheel setting was at 5-1. My top hat setting is factory setting for .177 Condor. I dont have a Chrony 🙁 but 10.5grain pellets are bellow supersonic speeds.

What must I change to improve consistency?

Well I got to test the gun with the o-ring yesterday. The power it absolutely perfect, exactly where i needed it. I only filled it to 170 bar and got over 50 shots per fill!

However, im not yet quite shore about consistency since my groups did open up a bit.
Anybody have any suggestions on what i should do to improve consistency with an o-ring on?
