The I would build the rest and use the 4500psi paint ball tanks my son has. I know that I can size the bullets to reduce friction after I engrave the rifling on them. We call it indexing the bullet to get the best fit to the bore. Some even have full forming die that size as it engrave for the best fit possible. It would be one pull for each bullet and they would be ready to shoot. Sounds easier than pouring and sizing each one. And you can not adjust a mold to get different wieghts of bullets. I reload and resize bullet with a hand press I would use it to engrave the bullets. To index the bullet to go back into the barrel you just turn it till it fits into the barrel. To engrave the rifling into the copper coating on the bullet. Then index them into the barrel to shoot them. Not lead bullets but the ones that a AR15 would shoot from a brass case. About 3/4ths of the length deep and use fine shoot (like they use for skeet) and wieght it to stock. Use 6 to 8 holes to fine tune and balance it to what ever tophat spring you want to use. Just make sure that lead has room to move. A plastic washer can hold the shot in. They make thier own sand cast molds for anything that they need or want to make. Someone may know someone who has a furnace and could cast the parts cheap. How Do you think this setup would be for long range? Would it be more accurate than a regular barrel or would it shoot all over? And at what speed could it reach? Leaveing room for it to move maybe 1/4 the depth of the holes. It should act like a deadblow. A deadblow is a big hammer that has lead shot in it when it hits something the shot keeps it from bounceing. The way the guns are designed it would be easy to build. I have found 22 barrel liners 26&#8243; long 5/16 dia. for $30.00. The rest is just tubeing and small parts.
