Thanks for the reply blodnob. Hopefully Drum is well. I am curious if you have used one of the “barrel guided” hammers that Drum used to offer. I have one (the hybrid I think) along with the stainless steel spring and “spring centralizer” which seems to work very well.

Wow! This must certainly be Sean, the creator of the “Blodnob Valve.” Oh man, I hope I got that right. If not, please forgive me. Great to have you back! I have never lost the hope of acquiring one of your valves for Condor.

If indeed I got it right, would you happen to know if Drum from Leupy’s Customs is still tinkering?

I think I may have found a potential cause for my strange problem. I removed the barrel and bushings to find that the bushings were not properly aligned with the “set” hole in the barrel.

It does group well usually although I am shooting at only about 12 yards. It has been awhile since I actually took it out to shoot at a decent distance. Initially, I was just looking to get some readings from my chronograph and then started “sanitizing” some old hard disk drives by blasting holes in them!

Hi kris, so far , the only pellet with which I have had an issue is the Euinjin 32.4 gr. I have not been good about inspecting a tin of pellets before using.

maw, 20Mpa=2900psi. Do both gauges read the same? I think the intermediate cylinder should be the shooting pressure you want regardless of pressure in the main tank. If pressure in the main tank drops below the intermediate cylinder then pressure should be the same.

Hi Maw, what do the gauges read? How much pressure did you use for charge?

Oh, I don’t like Mpa. PSI is much more familiar. Seems the gauges should be physically larger to accurately measure Mpa.

Yes, the nut or screw on the end does regulate pressure to the intermediate tank and allow filling of the main tank. I just removed the valve and backed this ‘nut’ out a little and now the other gauge is working and there is air pressure showing in the main tank. I’ll have to use a hand pump beyond this as my scuba tank is only at 1500psi.

Update!!

OK, I have just dry fired my Condor 4 times and emptied the tank which means my ‘fill’ only filled the ‘intermediate’ chamber and did not introduce any air to the main tank which explains the fact that the other gauge did not register anything. I will later remove the valve and try to adjust the pressure regulating nut. This is BS!
