<p>I don&#8217;t think you have to reset after each shot, a jumper in the jack changes this (I think it works that way with just the cable plugged in, no laptop?).</p>

<p>Not only does the bottle need to be the right color, but the valves also often change with the gas.  All in all I like the suggestion of trading it in for a HPA tank at the gas rack if you can.</p>

<p>Next time they are painting frames black, they can include your parts.  Bikes have seriously tough paint, bike shops have sorted out how to get it put on so it stays.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>OK, the bad gauge idea is more likely anyway IMO.  Again, as a test shoot the gun and watch the MV changes.</p>
<p>If you open the valve a bit more (say a quarter turn) after the pressure shows 2000 and it doesn&#8217;t go up I&#8217;d swap out the gauge if I didn&#8217;t have a chrono around.</p>

<p>If you have a chrono, shoot a string.  If it goes down in MV with every shot, chances are you only have 2000 psi.  Otherwise, take the tank back to the shop, they&#8217;ll have a gauge to test the fill. <p>Although it&#8217;s been a while since I&#8217;ve done it, putting a 24 inch barrel delivered about 30 fpe with the same settings.</p>

You&#8217;ll note it that same post Tim says it&#8217;s basically impossible to tune one tank and valve to act the same as another on a given gun.</p>
