Discovered I had a bit of a baffle strike the other day, probably put 6 rounds thru it before I notice
Only damage was to this part, my can is a bit over built 🙂

the snipers on hold for now, plan on getting a new, longer TJ barrel for it and I wan’t to try some different material for the valve, using PEEK and it just doesn’t want to hold air for long.

took it off and took a closer look at the scope rail that is screwed to the top of the gun, it points ever so slightly to the right

good thing I got some adjustable scope rings coming 🙄

got a lee pot and built a PID for it and a bench to put it all on. also got a Accurate molds mold in 50 cal

these look pretty poor, but I did this without any prep and no temperature gauge, just wanted to see how they would cast 😆

You’re right there isn’t a whole lot out there considering how long they’ve been out.
I almost went for a 909 instead because of that.

This will really make me get goin on the casting – $18 for 50 shots is a bit spendy

Barrel is a big improvement over the previous one, now to see if the flyers are me or the barrel. :whistle:

pumped it back up a bit more and loaded a mag – shot 7 shots, can’t hear the hiss anymore 😎

but yes don’t do anything to the gun that could keep you from returning it if at all possible

my second valve is toast, won’t hold air anymore

looked through the bore and looked much better than the original. cleaned it well and pushed a pellet through, choke seems closer to the end of the barrel and the pellet came out clean. (nicely cut rifling)
