How could the earths rotation (Coriolis) change anything at transonic spead and not at supersonic speeds?

Sure the .177 shot faster in springers. The tis because the same power plant was required to propel heavier and heavier projectiles.

In our PCP’s, this isn’t the case. We can easily dial in the required power to compensate for the added weight or larger calibers.
