Hello, need some help here !!!

I tried to rebuild my MK3 after 3years of decent use with a kit from PA. I put together everything properly with good silicone lubricant (o-rings).

When I attempt to pump now, pump rebounds after downward push. There is no need to pull up the handle and air is not being pumped. To pump any air, I have to hold the…Read more

Thank you all for feedback and comments.

Shroud vent holes are not uncommon (e.g: Huggett) among air rifles, this is just my touch (after rear bush blew off). I will try electrical tape and a db-meter app.

I will definitely apply Magazine reload marking stickers and try out thicker O-ring – simple but awesome tricks.

From my research (after buying Cricket), looks like real Hill Pump from UK is not making pumps anymore. Hill MK3 was their last one. MK4 is made by someone else, appears to be comparable to any other pump.

I own a MK3 from 2013, love it. Have been filling Marauder since then, no water issues. I still use it to pump Cricket to 250bar.

Dayotat100: 1.2″ at 200yds is commendable achievement!! When u install aluminum endcap, do you take to second bushing out ? Keeping 3points of support in straight line is way difficult than keeping two & especially because of gap that exists with stock bushings.
I was attempting to install Air Venturi thumb hole stock, but no matter which positions of butt plate/stock/clamp on tank I tried, a gap would appear.
