That should help in lining things up. And yes, I have the 12 inch barrel which sits in the shroud so it is a bit hard to align. I didn’t like using my dowel on the end of the barrel so will try a tube
next time. Hate to put any pressure on the crown of any barrel like that.

Well, I finally got it assembled by pushing the barrel down with a dowel. I guess I must have had the hammer cocked but who knows. It works now but next time I will have to make sure it is not cocked. Still lining up these little holes is a pain. The barrel kept moving on me.
