So I bucked up the funds and mailed off $250 for one of Neil&#8217;s 2 piece CF shroud/LDC units today. Had to do something&#8230; The cricket just puts out too much energy for me to be comfortable even sighting with neighbors.</p>

How about drilling out the shroud&#8217;s end cap to a 1/2&#8243; hole and threading it for a male-male 1/2&#215;20 fitting to match up with a female LDC? The plastic shroud cap should be tough enough to hold threads. Any machinists out there?</p>
