i made my own “Shroud”…

the JSB’s shoot very well as well does Crosman Premier Hunting and H&N Barracuda Match.

for the $$$$ involved in purchasing a new Talon/Talon SS/Condor, i’d say go for the mods and make/purchase moderator.

if it a barrel bushing you have to use the same length set screw.

you can go the next size up with no problems.

you may have to ream the hole in the body to accommodate the new screw, though.

have you installed the ‘supersear’? it makes the trigger very respectable. 😀

the valve stem is very thin and the set screw CAN damage the threads if overly tightened… 😯

i did it to my Talon with very good results. in combination with the supersear from AoA made a good trigger.

(My shot count did drop off a little…but it’s worth the change.)

insofar as air guns being outlawed…it would not be surprising to see more legislation regarding ‘power’ issues when it comes to the high powered PCP’s that are emerging.

i think the true, ‘best thing’, is washing and ridding the pellets of the lead swarf and residue.
