Ok Donny, I made my own following your instructions and I also wrapped it with the Di-NOC carbon fiber from 3M (Very easy to do). Very happy with the results. Thanks again for sharing your trial and error with the forum! Sounds and looks great

You need to use 200 class PVC (200 psi working pressure). I recently measured the I.D. of the pipe that I have and noticed it is too small also so I’ll see if I can find some tomorrow locally. I used the same material (my wife had some leftover cabinet liner). I made it about 5 inches long and I like how it looks after it is painted. Great alternative for cheapskates like myself.

I couldn’t wait to make one so I tried this mod on my marauder and it definitely quieted it down alot (its already pretty quiet). I only hear the action. Now I have all the material needed for when my cricket gets here next week.

I like the looks of the gun. I was looking for alternatives for the cap and saw that they make 1 inch PVC plugs as well. Not sure how it would affect the sound though. You should record the sound of the gun with and without the homemade shroud (if you have time of course)

also, you could try a carbon fiber wrap instead of paint to make it look a little more professional. I hear the 3M brand one works well

Waiting on mine too. They told me it might be a month and half before I got mine though. It is definitely hard to wait though but I ordered a skeleton stock from WWAG with the extra money.
