Fitted a JP trigger, VERY higjly recommended to upgrade the trigger assembly, as it did come with the worst trigger of any AR I have and it&#8217;s such a simple drop-in. Mine wears a Leopold 3&#215;9-40 mounted in an Armalite one-piece mount.</p>

<p>Loctite the retianer in place, or shim the gap so the retainer can get tightened up.</p>
<p>Maybe I don&#8217;t understand the problem.</p>

<p>Pry out the tophat / stem.<br />
Unsrew the brass retainer that is behind the tophat.<br />
Drop the delrin valve head and spring out into your hand.</p>
<p>The airport people can now drop a pencil into your tank&#8217;s empty valve orifice.</p>

Seems overkill for airguns, lead fouling is easy to remove without resorting to abrasives.</p>
