<p>It has the top hat from Tony (no insert) and a drop down tank and that&#8217;s about it in terms of what could be different than stock.  I did not mess with washers or o rings.</p>

<p>I was shooting H&amp;N barracuda and Beeman Crow mags.</p>
<p>Power wheel says 10 on the horizontal and 14 on the wheel.</p>
<p>The tank is tight with a talon tunes tank adaptor.  Quick change top hat with no restrict or insert.</p>
<p>I tried a shroud and took it off immediately because it shifted the shots by 3 inches.  Maybe I installed it wrong.</p>

<p>I inventoried the washer set Tony sent me and it looks like the 1/2 inch washer came out of that bag.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the valve assembly is definitely messed up.</p>
<p>AirForce said they can&#8217;t help except to sell me another tank.  </p>
<p>Meanwhile, call number two to Tony is pending a response.</p>

<p>I tried inserting the top hat and filling the tank.</p>
<p>The tank will not fill; the air merely flows out the top hat.</p>
<p>I saw that I skipped a step on the install video.  Specifically, it said the tank adapter will not line up correctly without changing a couple of screws inside the trigger. <p>I&#8217;d have no idea how to shim a top hat to 0.088.  With the TT quick change the head of the top hat is a short gap away from the brass cylinder in the tank end.  The bolt is loose enough that when I fire it moves off the &#8220;lock&#8221; position and centers.</p>

<p>I installed the quick change top hat and there is play in the bolt when closed.</p>
<p>Now I see top hat shims on Talon Tunes site to &#8220;experiment with limiting top hat travel.&#8221;    So does this mean the factory top hat or for use with the quick change top hat? </p>
<p>Where exactly do the shims go?  How do I know when it&#8217;s shimmed right?</p>

<p>After bore sighting it at 35 yards I find it 2.5 inches low and 1/2 inch right at 12 yards. (Shooting indoors until my shroud arrives from Tony.). Again this is within about 20 clicks up  elevation and 20 clicks left, give or take.</p>
<p>Is this in range of final adjustment or do I need adjustable mounts?</p>

<p>I understand it will be very low at 10 yards with a 1 inch ring and ~3 inches from rail to barrel.  But I had to crank it nearly all the way up to get it 4 inches low.</p>

<p>On further thought, why should a scope need to be shimmed anyway?  Doesn&#8217;t this mean something with the barrel is out of whack?  If the rail is parallel and the rings are the same height, it seems like all would be well without having to make one ring higher than the other.</p>

<p>When bench resting I can get a cherry picker to move the gun around.  Scope. Stock. Bipod.  shroud.  Oh and air tank.</p>
<p>If I hunt I can take everything off but the scope and get it back to a lighter weight.</p>
