Super quiet and a heck of a lot of fun. Accurate enough to take out chipmunks at 150 feet also. The cips eat the wives flower bulbs. Eliminated 19 in the last 2 weeks.</p>

If you put too light a spring in, it will allow the washer to go at an angle and deflect the pellat. Too light a spring and it will twang. Too narrow and it can twang. The tophat does wobble and turn 1/8&#8243; on the stem with the two set screws tight. Is this correct? Never heard any metion of it. Figure it lets it self align?</p>

My valve stem has two grub screws. The top hat actually wobbles and turns 1/8&#8243; on the valve stem with the grub scews tight. I never touched it. That would make the bottom of the tophat 1.25 up from the distance they normally measure. Sounds like it is way different then everyone elses. Standard talon ss bottle. But if you use it during the day and aim it in direct sunlight on a green or white object you will notice almost twice the distance. Make sure the rubber o-ring is in the grove in the adapter you are screwing your bottle into. I did the same thing and the o-ring was missing, and I did not know it was suppose to have one. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When adding springs make sure they are some what stiff. I made a mistake and used 2 long light springs. It alowed the washers to deflect at an angle and thereby deflecting the pellet and just bearly hit the bushing on the way out just denting it a little. Could have been worse, be carefull!!! Good thing I was only on power setting 3.</p>
