I hope you have a Winchester 100 that has had the firing pin replaced. There was a recall some years ago by Olin, apparently the firing pins were breaking. Could be dangerous. Olin will ship a new firing pin for free plus give you $30 for installation. Very nice gun. I own 2 of them. Will have to thin things out soon.

Those chrono numbers are about the same as I get with my Sportsman HV. I still have not chronographed a string but I get 995 fps with the 18.1 JSB’s from a 3000 psi fill.
Enjoy it! Looks like a great shooter.

You will love the BSA. I just recently aquired one and it shoots excellent groups at 30 yards with both JSB 15.9 gr and JSP 18.1 gr pellets. I chronographed the 18.1’s at 995 fps.

I bought a .22 cal S410 Classic FAC with Walnut stock off the Yellow recently. Love the gun. It is only shooting 18 grain JSB’s at 630 fps (16 fp) but you can cover 5 shots with a dime at 30 yards (shooting off a rickety step ladder with a couple of bean bags on it). Much quieter than my .22 Talon SS and has taken 8 squirrels in the past 2 weeks.…Read more

I remember a package of mine going from NJ to Massachusetts, to Hartford and finally to Stratford. Probably don’t have a truck going from Stratford to Norwalk, so they sent it to Hartford and then back to Norwalk. It will be “out for delivery” in the morning, or else the delivery will be “rescheduled”.

Nice gun! I have the Lux model with schnabel forend and 24.8″ barrel. Some day I’ll get around to trying it out. By the way, any scratches you get would be referred to as “character scars.”
