If you have an old screwed up .177 cal. breakbarrel you can shoot kitchen matches at a nearby hard surface, they go bang, or check out the guys who have been gluing rifle primers to pellets over in the airgun section of Accurate Reloading.com There is some cool video. <p>Looking at the recovered slug, it appeared that only the after or heel portion driving band had engraved the rifleing.  Does that match with your observation? I use the point blank range calculator available at AirgunExpo.com  There are two, and one of them has a 200 yard table if you check the box.  There are several interesting calculators there.<br />

When it is cool (60-70 deg) vels are less, and fall as the gun itself cools off from the phase change as the liquid co2 volitizes.  I suspect your talon would shoot similarly, as it would be the same valve. I shoot a lot in several hunting and accuracy games, and have never had so much utility gain in a change of equipment.  It was like I had been shooting left handed with a bag over my head. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have an Airhog shroud on .22 and .25 Condor, the hammer fall is the loudest sound firing makes if you discount pellet strike noise.  Unshrouded, the gun is really loud. I couldn&#8217;t be happier with the shroud or the customer service.</p>

Airforce barrels come with some kind of tenacious anticorrosion grease in the barrel which needs a strong solvent and a good brushing and patches to remove, then the solvent needs to be removed so as not to eat the O-rings. After years of warning of the dangers of pulling bullets he has finaly gotten Eley to ship him small quantities of slugs.  These might be accurate in a gun with a powder barrel.  </p>
