I use it only on my condor ss .25 using JSB heavy pellets at the farm and all you hear is the pellet when hits the target.
My condor is vented and has been expertly tuned by Tony using the hammer slap modification and his high output top hat.

The farm is infested with them. I used a Hawke scope 4×12 50 mm EV scope that was zeroed at 30 yards.
The combination of the these heavy pellets and the Hawke scope make for woodchuck death.

I dry fired the gun after putting in the hammer mod and did not tighten the baffle bushing screws securely… :5:

It replaces the cheap stock hammer with a solid brass one which has two heavy duty thickened o rings on each end.
When the trigger is pulled, the hammer slide backward releasing the compressed air that powers the pellet.
This results in the hammer slap sound which can be quite loud.
