Thanks for the replies, fellas. The valve grinding comment was a bit tongue in cheek, but it’s true that I don’t know jack about polishing a barrel. I believe I’ll take it easy and limit myself to a few passes with some J-B paste without going overboard. If I manage to fux my barrel I’ll come back and fess up.

Can confirm, this mod may be highly complex but it does work. I used yellow for “caution” and red for empty and those colors seem to function as well. Have not had a chance to chrony the gun since mod was completed, will report back…

hope that works. If it does, then you can see that the shiny screw was in the top hole (closest to the receiver). You can also see the screw hanging out on the frame where it lives now.

Thanks y’all,

I ended up keeping the gun gassed up because of your advice about not firing with zero pressure in the tank. It worked just fine and my trigger is better, though not perfect yet.

I tried switching the two set screws like Lurker did- I can see where he was coming from when he said that the top screw was kind of short. It appears to…Read more

Take this with a grain of salt because my Vulcan hasn’t arrived yet, but I’m aware that some of the guys around here like the 5.11 M4 shorty case (assuming you’re looking for a soft case). No idea about a replacement hard case if that’s what you’re looking for. http://www.511tactical.com/covrt-m4-shorty.html

I’m in a similar boat. Ordered a .25 Vulcan from Tony along with an asinine request for a rifle with a pretty looking stock. He has been quite responsive and actually had a rifle ready for me about a month ago but noticed my request and called me to say that the stock was just fine but rather light in color and nothing special to look at. I made…Read more
