A good ending to report. A customer named Luke was able to buy The Shorty from Nika and Dman sold him his personal Listone barrel at half price. This barrel did shoot the JSB 15.9’s very well, a lot better than the unchoked barrel that was on the gun. I have shipped the gun to Luke and soon he should be able to enjoy his new Mutant.

I wish Steve and Peter never were able to do what they have done to so many people. When I bought Peter’s inventory I intentionally did not want to buy his company and the liablility’s that would go with it. Even though I only bought inventory, now I wish I did not.

Now it is my turn.

About two weeks ago I recieved a Mutant Shorty from a shipping facility with no name as far as who it came from. The gun came disassembled, it was missing the following, factory box, fill probe, magazines, O-rings and single shot tray. It also was missing one of the breech seals and the receiver breech seal was damaged so I…Read more

Okay, today I did some research on a Mutant. With the barrel removed I examined the transfer ports location in the area beneath the barrel. I found the TP barely sits in front of the brass spacer that holds the breech seal. I confirmed what I saw by forming some automotive clay bar inside the receiver where the barrel would sit, by looking at its…Read more

I am following this thread. All mutants are to have an o-ring on the front face of the brass bushing that sits behind the breech of the barrel and one o-ring inside the receiver that encircles the outside of the breach of the barrel in front of the TP so as to seal the air puff. I have added a thicker o-ring in front of the brass bushing to cure a…Read more

I decided to put in a sound absorbing material to see if I could quiet things a little more. It seemed to help a small bit, I don’t think it be would worth it to put it in future mods.
