    Water in air is a problem; regardless of type of pump. Those expensive automatic pumps have expensive and often elaborate filters as a way to reduce the moisture content.<br />

<p>   Why such heavy pellets? How does it shoot cpl or cph? or jsb?</p>
<p>    Usually a pellet can be seated with just thumb pressure; if those heavy pellets are so tight that you have to use extreme force to seat them=they are Too Big for that barrel. [or slugs/bullets&#8230;=not for .177]</p>

    Sometimes a tank will &#8220;dump&#8221; [empty/ or, use way too much air for one shot] because of using a much too heavy hammer&#8230;could That be a clue?<br />
