<p>Wife was given them as juvenile plants (~3&#8243; high) and told they would make good salsa. Friend of a friend of a friend sort of thing.</p>
<p>Have a few in the freezer, will get suited up, thaw one and see about the seeds&#8230;vague memories of smallish seeds&#8230;and napalm. </p>

<p>Crosman based. Crosman parts are the barrel and grip frame/trigger group.</p>

<p>Had a 6&#8243; Record where I worked. Liked it enough to pony up the dough for one in my garage at home. $180</p>
<p>My thinking&#8230;..you can make a large vise hold small parts&#8230;you cannot make a small vise hold large parts.</p>

<p>Contouring a rifle blank is a pretty common practice. Would suggest doing some research on it, or at the very least taking your time with it and not letting the barrel get any hotter than you can hold on to. </p>

<p>None of these are suitable for use with pellets which need a smaller .215-.216&#8243; groove diameter.</p>
<p>Check out the LW barrels. Good value for the dollar @ around the $100 for 23.8&#8243; if you&#8217;re in the US.</p>

<p>Easy to work on..indeed. 🙂 </p>
<p>After I bought two, they became available with an optional LW barrel from the factory. &#8220;Stock&#8221; barrels are choked and do quite well with JSB 15.8 and 18.1gr. </p>
<p>Had an opportunity to try a BT65 RB in .22 this past weekend&#8230;I could get used to it. </p>

<p>If you chose to make the sleeve from 6061 T6, a thickness of .125&#8243; over the o-ring groove would leave enough room for a thin bushing on the od.</p>
<p>The sleeve would have a working pressure of 4700psi with a 3x safety factor at yield.</p>
<p>Based on .875&#8243; od x .500&#8243; id, 35000psi yield strength, 1/16&#8243; cross section o-ring.</p>

<p>Metal sleeve with the rest being delrin. </p>
<p>6061 T6 and 304 are things I have on hand and don&#8217;t mind working with.</p>

<p>Have you tried using HSS on the plastic? Sharpened and honed with a diamond file, I find it works much better than carbide with plastics.</p>
