I also noticed the black area at the end of the delrin/plastic piece. Looked like it is rubbing against the spring or housing. Looked like nothing there to keep the spring from moving/vibration. Not the same design as the .22 or .25 for sure. I think the springs vibration killed the already weak valve stem.

I don’t think the Edguns are standardized. Nit all the nuts and bolts are the same on every gun. Ed is always upgrading and changing things. Anyway, I only checked it against my .25 R3 and they are the exact same. If bolts are too long, it can be trimmed or adding a lock washer will also work.
