<p>If you order a new valve stem from Tony, he needs to know the length and dimensions. If you do not have the measurement, no one can guaranty that it is going to fit. That is just the way it is.<br />

<p>Now other members do not feel too bad to pay 10.00 dollars for a set of screws for their Matadors. I usually doubled the amount of screws order at no charge. Shipping costs me between 3-4 dollars. I think it is totally worth it. you dont have to leave the comfort of your home, let the screws come to you.</p>

<p>I also noticed the black area at the end of the delrin/plastic piece. Looked like it is rubbing against the spring or housing. Looked like nothing there to keep the spring from moving/vibration. Not the same design as the .22 or .25 for sure. I think the springs vibration killed the already weak valve stem.</p>

<p>I don&#8217;t think the Edguns are standardized. Nit all the nuts and bolts are the same on every gun. Ed is always upgrading and changing things. Anyway, I only checked it against my .25 R3 and they are the exact same. If bolts are too long, it can be trimmed or adding a lock washer will also work.</p>
