									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is 12ftlb Vulcan and it came with short spring and metal spacer.<br />
I have replaced the spacer and the brass spring guide with a custum made derlin with thick shoulder.<br />
This reduced the hammer slap, made the gun more consistent. Small spring made gun cocking effortless.<br />
And adding HW100 silence made it less pretty but very very quite.<br />

To remove the regulator<br />
1- degas the gun. I have done this by replacing the hammer spring with cut off of Ballpen like this one<br />

Vulcan 177 and 22 got the brass spring retainer to reduce hammer bounce to save air but more important to reduce FPS.<br />

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The outer diameter of the shoulder should be at least 12.7 mm or better slightly more. This one OD is 10 mm so it will push the hammer whole way and it will not stop against the action. This theoretically my reduce shot count due to hammer bounce.<br />
Also with thickness of just 1.5 mm I wonder if it is strong enough.</p>

Just wonder about using grommets on the hammer spring. In any PCP we used to polish the hammer, smooth the springs ends and avoid using any grease to make the gun very consistence and reduce FPS spread but here we are fixing something to the hammer spring which in theory may affect consistency.<br />
