I got two using “Crow Magnum” pellets this week and instant death, one head shot and one shoulder area/heart shot. I do like the idea of shooting the heaviest pellet I can for better down range performance. Thanks for the replies.

Depending on distance I do try for a head shot. If I’m stretching it out a bit I prefer a shoulder shot since it makes it harder for them to climb back up the tree.
