I have one of Tony’s shrouds on my TalonP, massive difference from stock. Just a “click” when on CO2 and a huge difference when using 3000 psi of air. Makes it pleasant to shoot, without the shroud, the “blast” is quite violent.

You could go with a shroud from R&L or Talon Tunes. Both work extremely well.

Out of the box, using 3000psi of air, it’s loud! Sounds like a large pneumatic tool went off! Not backyard friendly …. but on CO2 it’s okay.

I have a TalonP and a new CondorSS both in .25cal, according to Airforce the valves are the same. Just one tank is bigger than the other.

However, in the UK (due to the 12ft/lb limit), I believe the internal springs inside the valves are different to limit power?

Man, you’ve dealt with a lot of issues, sorry to hear that.

Mine was fine out of the box, have a TalonP and a Condor SS. Never had a problem cocking either.

It’s true, the Airforce bipod can be a bit tight fitting, I ended up machining a bit off of the top of the part that pivots on mine.

Pumping up the cylinder, I’ve found the Hill Pump to…Read more

I have a .25 cal Condor SS, found JSB Exacts to be the most accurate, but H&N Barracuda Hunters are pretty darn good too. One hole groups for me. Also, a high magnification scope is recommended, such as a 4-16 x 50.

Spoke to Airforce right after, apparently, you’d have to send the tank to them to tune the valve.

Depends on the distance and lighting.

If it’s almost in complete darkness, a red dot scope would work well, red dot’s also allow for quick acquisition on close distances -such as 10 yards. Main thing is to practice for the distance in which you’ll be shooting most often. Also, a moderator/ shroud of some sort will be good.

Correct me if I’m wrong, for maximum power you want the .25 cal with the longest barrel.

I have a TalonP and out the box it makes something like 50 ft/lbs with the direct flo valve. I put on a 24″ barrel and I think it put out 80 ft/lbs -I don’t have the paper with the velocities in front of me, but I’m pretty sure it was that high.
