looks to me  like  a great idea for  a build .  cut the back valve  flat and have 0 space between the valve seal and flat piston face ,</p>

it would be safe at 3000psi id think  but depends on the  ends  .  i think 4500 would be over the safe working presure .</p>

<p>when your  cutting the  thread does it feed it ahead on a 60degree or just  straight  ? looks like it always does  a  nice  front cut  .<br />
  316ss is nice  to use , hard on the  cutter  but peals off smooth.</p>

im not  sure  about drillin an making barrels , thats something you need to know well an expeiment lots .  check out some  of the single split end  drills , they are fluted  an pumped with coolent<br />

i put a  static capasitor in for mine insted of 3phase ,  and  it has  worked  great , $89 well spent  .<br />

depends on the price if its  worth it . they are not a great lathe from my experience ,its  like a south bend but not, which they go for $600-1200with tools.</p>

   @ 180bar the 124g slug was blazzing at  98f/s 🙂<br />

the light spring is to light even at &lt;1800psi ( sounds realy strong but not enough) .<br />
 an i worry at 2400+psi the  heavy may be to light .   guna test tonight for speeds on the chrony .<br />

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>hammer is the breech .the hammer has the orings in it, one on each end   . and it is solid end to end around the barrel  . when you cock the gun you are sliding the hammer back by attached bolt  ( in the pictures above) .  my barrel an top hat are the same size , an the hole through the hammer is just slightly bigger ( snugg  fit) .<br />

<p> the spring wire i got was .066&#8221; an .078 . made up a few springs   not sure what i will end up using .<br />

cant wait to see if ya can hit anything . lets hope </p>
<p>i just got my spring wire today , so im hopeing to have the spring made tonight .  top rail was finished last night aswell as all the hole drilling for bolts .<br />
wont be long now 🙂</p>
