Not sure how it would NOT engage but it&#8217;s worth checking as it&#8217;s only two 3mm screws to remove.  Here is one of Ernest vids that shows how to remove the breech.</p>

I lightly sanded it at 12 o&#8217;clock with 320 grit paper. I think the thing to do is use some sandpaper on a wooden dowel and &#8220;polish&#8221; away the anodizing in the end cap and see if that gives me enough clearance? If it comes down to it and I need to open the exit hole up on my offset would it really make a noticeable difference in the sound? I noticed my groups were a little larger than normal and checked the baffles for clipping.  It is pretty clear to see that the pellets are striking the very end of the moderator at 6 o&#8217;clock. The only reason I haven&#8217;t lubed it yet is because from seeing everyone&#8217;s videos it doesn&#8217;t look like they use any grease on the bolt itself, maybe it doesn&#8217;t need it as long as the slot on the bottom of the bolt is lubed?</p>
<p>I will say it&#8217;s pretty damn slick now after the moly treatment.   :8:</p>

I suppose it might have sat on a shelf in Russia for a while before being shipped over here&#8230; Mine has all the latest improvements that Ed made to the r3m&#8217;s also.</p>

That is the main reason I have been hesitant to change to a different brand variable power scope with more magnification. Would have been interesting to see if the AT was touching there before I re-adjusted my eccentric screw but I&#8217;m not changing anything now that it&#8217;s shooting good!</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I thought I would have to disassemble mine to take the baffles off at first but it came off quite easily (pretty much the same as Ernest&#8217;s video).  They must have cooled it a little when tightening stuff at the EDgun factory lol.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The string looks pretty normal?  I have heard others say after cleaning all the factory grease out their ES dropped to like 9fps, some even less.  That said I don&#8217;t want to go messing with it if thats as good as it gets for now.   I&#8217;ve shot just under 2000 pellets through it so far (counts rising everyday). </p>

I&#8217;ll have to try that the next time I am cleaning the barrel.  Greg, I&#8217;m too lazy to make my own de-gasser lol.
