<p>I can see where your hammer modification would make a difference in the noise, nice repair. Unfortunately I don’t have the machine shop to do that work so I’ll just have to live with the noise.</p>
<p>Or as suggested just give the gun to a new deserving home who can live with the noise&#8230; not likely my friend! I’ve got a standard 22 mutant that I enjoy shooting except for the “ping” noise from the hammer area when it’s fired. If it wasn’t for this “ping” noise the gun would be silent, well I have an extra Donny FL mod on it so that helps too..</p>
