									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It wasn&#8217;t the sear that was scoring the hammer end caps.  It was a burr of  aluminum hanging  at the end of the little slot that the breech knob rides in.    A needle file remedied the situation.   Back to smooth operation.<br />
  On a side note.  I went ahead and cleaned the barrel real good. I use cotton patches and Breakfree CLP. I  looked for it  and found it (in the trash can)  and tore the rifle down again and   ever-so-carefully reattached it to the spring.
