The regulator&#8217;s job is to keep a set pressure in the plenum.  To exhaust the plenum, you need valve dwell time(VDT).  This VDT is regulated by the hammer/hammer spring. I think some hammer springs are stronger than others.  I just did a standard and set the reg at 135, and it was below the first peak at 905.
